Gourmet is a cultural ideal associated with the culinary arts of fine food and drink, or haute cuisine , which is characterised by elaborate preparations and presentations of large meals of small, often quite rich courses.

There will be a wine tasting from 7pm with Pierre Lacroix, from Berkmann Wine Suppliers, prior to the gourmet menu starting. It will last for approximately 45 minutes and Pierre will run through each individual wine and its characteristics, why it has been chosen, how it will enhance each individual course and some background on where it is produced.

Each course will be accompanied by a specially selected wine chosen to enhance the flavour of the food. You will find that the food will also enhance the flavour of the wine. Wine willl also be available for purchase with recommendations.
